Taken in late Autumn of 2005, this picture shows some of the floating houses found in Seattle's Portage Bay. Beyond the bridge in the background lies Lake Washington.

Sleepless in Seattle
I didn't realize it at the time but I evidently caught an image of the floating house that appeared in the movie Sleepless in Seattle. There it is beneath and slightly to the left of the BOATWORLD sign.

A different lifestyle, for certain. Reminiscent of some Thailand floating houseboats/grocery/stores, photos of which I've seen.
