A weekend in Juneau

A relaxing weekend spent in Juneau, the Capital City of Alaska, provided these scenes.


Snaking down from the Juneau Ice Field, the Mendenhall Glacier calves into Mendenhall Lake, itself fed primarily by glacial meltwater and runoff from the mountains on either side.

Coulees of Central Washington

A late spring visit to the Coulees area of Central Washington State including the Grand Coulee Dam.


This area is known as the Dry Falls.

In the golden light of early evening, the already colorful bluffs take on spectacular hues.
